About Alundrart

Meet Alberto, the Artist Behind Alundrart

Hi, I'm Alberto, the illustrator and fan artist behind Alundrart.

I've been creating artwork and t-shirt designs since 2012, turning my love for drawing and video games into an independent creative project that has continued to grow over the years.

Every Alundrart design is created and illustrated by me, from the initial idea and sketch to the finished artwork.

My Journey as an Independent Artist

Art has been part of my life for as long as I can remember. I studied Arts and continued my education in Fine Arts before moving into Graphic Design, where I began working more deeply with digital illustration, typography and graphic composition.

From there, I continued developing my skills independently through years of drawing, experimentation and working professionally with my artwork online. What began as a personal creative project gradually became Alundrart.

Today I mainly work digitally, usually beginning my illustrations in Procreate and using tools such as Adobe Illustrator when a design needs typography, vector elements or additional graphic work.

Inspired by the Games I Love

Video games have always been one of my favorite subjects to draw.

RPGs and JRPGs are especially important to me, alongside indie games, metroidvanias, survival horror and retro games. Final Fantasy has always been one of the series I naturally return to for inspiration, but I also enjoy discovering smaller games, unusual characters and distinctive worlds that give me new ideas.

That is why Alundrart isn't focused only on the most recognizable protagonists. I also love creating artwork inspired by bosses, enemies, creatures, NPCs, secondary characters and smaller references that players remember from actually experiencing a game.

Sometimes those less obvious characters become some of my favorite designs.

From an Idea to a Finished Design

Most designs begin with a simple idea saved in my notes. I usually have far more ideas waiting than I could ever draw, so I choose the one that feels most interesting to work on at that moment.

I start by developing the composition and illustration, experimenting until the design begins to match the idea I had in mind. Depending on the artwork, I may then refine details, typography or graphic elements before preparing the finished design for print or embroidery.

My style can change depending on the idea. I enjoy detailed illustration, kawaii and chibi artwork, typography, food inspired designs and other graphic approaches rather than forcing every piece into the same visual formula.

What matters most to me is that each design feels like something I genuinely wanted to create.

Original Artwork by a Real Artist

Alundrart is an independent artist project. There isn't a large design team creating the artwork behind the store, and the illustrations aren't AI-generated.

I personally choose what I want to draw, create the artwork and prepare the finished designs. That independence gives me the freedom to work on both well known characters and much more niche ideas that I simply find interesting as a fan and artist.

One of the most rewarding parts of this work is seeing an illustration that started as a sketch eventually being worn by someone on a t-shirt. Knowing that another person connected enough with one of my drawings to want to wear it is something I still genuinely appreciate.

Alundrart Today

After more than a decade of creating and selling my artwork online, Alundrart continues to be what it has always been at its core: an independent project built around drawing the games, characters and ideas that inspire me and sharing that artwork with people who enjoy them too.
